ARTS AND CRAFTS CAMPS

Children's Clay Camp at Tucson Clay Co-op

Interactive Summer Clay Camp at the Tucson Clay Co-op includes wheel throwing, hand building and sculpture.

Ages: Children 6 to 12

When: 2-week sessions (Tuesday/Thursday/Friday) from May 29-July 24. Classes meet from 9 am-noon.

Location: Tucson Clay Co-op is located on Dodge Blvd. north of Fort Lowell.


HISTORY AND CULTURE CAMPS

Presidio Museum Summer Camp

Become an early inhabitant of Tucson and experience history hands-on by making adobe bricks, writing in calligraphy, creating a family tree, grinding corn by hand, tinsmithing ornaments, playing Presidio era games, and more!

Ages: 6-12
When: Weeks of June 4, 11, and 18; 8:30 AM-3:30 PM
Location: Presidio San Agustin, 196 N. Court Ave.

Drum and Drummer Legendary Summer Camps

Learn new musical skills, try out new instruments, and have fun while making some awesome friends.

Ages: 8-18
When: Camps run 9 AM-3 PM Monday-Friday; June 4th - June 8th and June 18th - June 22nd
Location: Drum and Drummer School of Music, 210 S Plumer


Music & Dance Academy

Join us for an action-packed summer! The Academy has enough to keep you out of the heat, making new friends, moving, learning, making music, and having fun all summer long!

Ages: Programs for children 18 mos through 17 years

When: Camp and class times vary and range from weeklong full-day camps to single evening mini-camps.

Location: Oro Valley (Oracle and Hardy) and Catalina Foothills (Sunrise and Swan)


SWIM LESSONS

Kidtastics offers convenient private, semi-private, & group lessons at your home or outdoor community pool with our certified & experienced instructors.

Ages: 6 mos-12 years
When: 30-45 minutes lessons, 4 days/week for 2-week sessions
Where: Your own pool (or a community or apartment pool)

Camp Like a G.I.R.L.: Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona

businessGirl Scout camp is where girls get to try new things, overcome fears, and gain confidence and independence in a unique environment just for girls! Day Camps and Resident Camps available.

  • Ages: Kindergarten through High School
  • When: Camps and programs available from June 4 to the week of July 20. 
  • Location: Day Camps at the Hacienda Program Center, 3101 N. Sabino Canyon Road and Resident Camps at Camp Whispering Pines, Mount Lemmon


Pima for Kids Summer Camps

Each week children can choose from a variety of exciting classes at one of our many locations. All classes incorporate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) learning concepts while incorporating hands-on activities that make learning fun.

Ages: 4-17

When: Camps run from June 4-July 27, Monday-Friday. Full and half-day camps available.

Location: Pima's East, West, and Northwest Campuses and other locations around Pima County
