New Year's Eve will not be an exception to how different the holidays have been for 2020. But it is probably one of the most anticipated events of the year - saying Buh Bye to 2020, and Hello to 2021!

Let's start our countdown to 2021 with five Inexpensive (and some FREE) ways the whole family can ring in the New Year!

  Virtual Happy Noon Year with Children's Museum Tucson! December 31, 11:55 AM. Cost: $5 donation.

Purchase a Happy Noon Year kit full of supplies to make your Noon Year super fun! Then join CMT online for a countdown, ball drop and toast as we celebrate a virtual Happy Noon Year!

  Time's Square New Year's Eve. December 31, starts at 2:00 PM Tucson time. Cost: FREE

This year the New Year's extravaganza will have some of the traditions we look forward to, plus some new virtual additions.

  • Instead of this event being open to the public, The Heroes of 2020 — first responders, frontline and essential workers and their families will be represented onsite at Times Square.
  • Viewers can tune in for a live broadcast and choose from multiple camera feeds to direct their own New Year’s Eve show.

  New Year's House Party with Unscrewed Theater. December 31, 7:30 PM. Cost: FREE, donations appreciated.

Join us for our last online improv show of the year, suitable for all ages! We will have an extra-large cast, and some surprises!

  7th Annual Oro Valley Hot Cocoa 5K Run/Walk. Cost: $25, children 12 & under are FREE with a paying adult.
  • Virtual option: January 1-3, 2021: Run or walk a total of 3.1 miles at any location between January 1-3.
  • In-Person: January 2 starting at 3:00 PM at Steam Pump Ranch in Oro Valley.
