Dads, it's your turn to be recognized and appreciated. There are a ton of things to do to celebrate Dads, not just on Father's Day, but the whole weekend! From Food and Beverages (can you say FREE Donuts?!), crafts, fitness, entertainment, and more! There's something for the whole family, a special date night, or just some time for Dad and his buds. Just click on the name of the event for more details - some events require registration. 

Saturday, June 15

7th Annual Dash for Dad 5K: Brandi Fenton Memorial Park. Registration: 5:30 AM, Race starts at 6:30 AM.
Dads, grab the kids and come out for a run/walk along the Rillito River Path. If you are a kid and you don’t live close to your Dad or he is no longer with us we invite you to come out and run in his honor. Moms, we would like to see you out as well because without you there are no kids! Awards will be given to first 100 finishers, first man/woman and special award to fastest dad. Cost: Registration is $25

Doughnuts with Dad: Our Play Place.9:00 AM-10:30 AM.  
We will be celebrating with doughnuts, a craft and playtime! Cost: $15.00 for one kid and special guy. $12.00 for each additional child.

Michaels Kids Club®: Father's Day Puzzle Card10:00 AM-12:00 PM. Cost: $3 per project, supplies included.

Father's Day Weekend at Old Tucson: 10:00 AM-5:00 PM
Men and boys of all ages get in FREE to Old Tucson June 15 and 16! Screening of "The Quick and the Dead" from 7:00 PM-9:30 PM. 

Storytime and Activities Featuring: Hop on Pop: Barnes and Noble Westide (Foothills Mall). 11:00 AM.
Celebrate Dad with a Storytime and activities featuring this beloved Dr. Seuss classic. FREE

Beer Yoga at Catalina Brewing Company: 11:00 AM-12:00 PM
That's right, real men do yoga! Join us for a chill, mixed level, slow-flow yoga practice. Hangout afterwards and enjoy a pint or two with friends. Non-alcoholic drink options available. Cost: $10 includes a "fun-class & yummy-glass". Rent a mat for $2. 

Film: Last Stand at Little Big Horn: The National Parks Store, 12880 N. Vistoso Village Drive. 12:00 PM-2:00 PM
This film explores the Battle of Little Bighorn, also known as Custer’s Last Stand, from both sides of the conflict. Learn about the battle from the perspective of the US Army’s 7th Cavalry, led by George Armstrong Custer, and from the Lakota and Cheyenne American Indians who fought to preserve their way of life. FREE. Registration required, call 520-622-6014.

Super Songs of the 60s! Gaslight Music Hall, 6:00 PM.
From The Beatles, The Turtles and The Monkees, to Neil Diamond, Buffalo Springfield, even The Archies! This tribute show is filled with Super hit after hit. Not only will you hear authentic renditions of the era’s most popular songs, you’ll also hear some background scoop about the bands who made them famous! If you can’t decide who your favorite 60’s band is, this show is meant for you! Cost: $25 (discounts for children, students, seniors, and military)

Brew at the Zoo 2019: Reid Park Zoo, 6:30 PM-9:30 PM. 21+ event.
Sample a wide variety of local craft brews, enjoy live music, fun games and a chance to meet the Zoo’s animal ambassadors up close and personal, chair massage, putting and win prizes with TopGolf, and more! Great pub food will be available for purchase.
Cost: Pre-sale pricing: $45 per person; $40 per person for Members, $20 per designated driver. Tickets at the gate on the night of the event will be $10 more.

Drive-In Movie on the Driving Range - Miracle: Oro Valley Community Center. 7:15 PM. 
Join us for a free Drive-in Movie series as we present the movie Miracle on our giant, inflatable outdoor screen. Set up a blanket or some chairs, or hang out in one of our golf carts (only our carts are allowed, please don't bring your own vehicle). Please be courteous to others and leave your pets at home. FREE

FREE Dive-in Movie in Marana at the Pool - A Wrinkle in Time: Marana Pool at Ora Mae Harn Park. 7:45 PM-9:35 PM.

Cost: $5 for adults; children and members are free. Father's Day only - Fathers get in FREE too!

Father's Day FREE Admission at Tohono Chul Park: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Free admission into the gardens for all fathers and grandfathers all day on Sunday, June 16. Come down and enjoy strolling the trails to see all the beautiful flowers in bloom. Don’t forget to visit the Museum Shops or the Exhibit House to see the latest art show and discover what the Garden Bistro has planned too!

Chocolate! 1000 Years and Counting: Tubac Presidio Historic State Park, Tubac, AZ. 10:-00 AM-12:00 PM
Come discover the rich history of chocolate in the Southwest. Taste a cacao bean, learn how the Mayans and pre-Columbian Native Americans prepared their chocolate, and sample the energy drink that fueled the 1774 and 1775 Anza expeditions from Tubac to Alta California.
Cost: Included with park admission ($5 adult, $2 youth 7-13, children 6 & under are free.

Father's Day Weekend and Classic Car Show at Old Tucson: 10:00 AM-5:00 PM
Men and boys of all ages get in FREE to Old Tucson June 15 and 16! On Sunay enjoy whiskey tastings (additional fee) and a classic car show from 10:00  AM-2:00 PM, presented by Truly Nolen. 

Father's Day at the Brewpub: Dove Mountain Brewing Company, 11:00 AM-10:00 PM. Family Friendly Event
Join us to celebrate all those wonderful dads out there! We are busting out the smoker and offering a half rack of delicious smoked ribs & local craft beer special all day long. Cost: $14 for a 1/2 rack of baby back ribs 

Father's Day Slider Pairing at Catalina Brewing Company: 12:00 PM-5:00 PM.  Family  Friendly event.
The Jersey Grill will be serving up 4 different sliders that are perfectly paired with some of our delicious brews. There will also be two optional crafts Dad can work on with the kids, wooden ruler folder holder or build a balsa wood airplane. Cost: Free event. Food and beverages available for purchase.

Donuts with Dad!: Casa Marana Craft Beer + Wine, 12:00 PM-11:00 PM. 
We'll be giving out FREE Krispy Kreme Donuts to all the Dad's out there for Fathers Day (with the purchase of any pint). Come on by and celebrate the father in your life with a pint and some Donuts from Krispy Kreme! American Asian Food Truck will be here starting 6:00 PM

Good Rockin’ LIVE! – A Salute to Sun Records: Gaslight Music Hall, 2:00 PM
This live concert event pays tribute to the birth of rock and roll and the music legends that Sun Records helped propel to stardom, such as Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison, and B.B. King. This show tells the tale of how rock was born through the music and stories of those who lived it. Cost: $30. Discounts available for children, students, seniors, and military.

Father's Day Painting: Star Wars: Catalina Brewing Company. 5:00 PM
Come paint an awesome splatter paint Star Wars painting (Choose One: Boba Fett, Darth Vader, Storm Trooper, or Yoda). 16 years+ may participate if with parent or guardian. Hurry! Limited spots! Cost: $30
