The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, which serves 53 counties in Central and Western Oklahoma, normally feeds more than 90,000 community members each week that includes families, senior citizens, and the homeless through community pantries, shelters, soup kitchens and schools.
Since the natural disasters left areas in Oklahoma devastated, the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma has also been assisting with both long and short term tornado and flooding relief efforts. In Moore, OK they have opened up a Food Resource Center, which is set up like a grocery store and allows clients to shop for their most needed items. It also takes into account food allergies clients may have. More families are utilizing this valuable resource, serving almost 200 families in one day!

Although the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma receives food and product donations, monetary donations are also necessary in order to make food purchases. That's why ContinentalMommies.com and NW Tucson Macaroni Kid are hosting their very first fundraiser to raise money for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma in support of Moore, Oklahoma and surrounding areas affected by the recent disasters.
