Live Theatre Workshop's summer camps are a one week music, theatre, dancing, and technical theatre experience. Every day students will work with a choreographer on two to three dance numbers, a vocal coach on musical theatre style singing, and with professional teaching artists who will lead them through the process of producing a play. All students will be assigned a role and will learn acting technique and theatre skills through the process of rehearsing their character for a final performance of their play and musical numbers.
Camps are arranged by age and grade level-all skill levels are welcome. All of our instructors are trained to introduce and teach in a way that makes the entire experience fun and educational in a safe and low-pressure environment. While students will be very busy learning lines, acting, singing, dancing, building sets, and producing their play; there is plenty of time for acting improvisation and theatre games.
1/2 Day Camp 1: ages 5-7 8am-noon June 11-15
1/2 Day Camp 2: ages 5-7 1pm-5 pm June 11-15
Camp 1: 3rd and 4th grade June 18-22
Camp 2: 5th - 6th grade June 25-29
Camp 3: 7th-8th grade July 2-6
Camp 4: 9th-12th grade July 9-13
Camp 5: ages 8-18 July 16-20
Camp 6: ages 8-18 July 23-27
Camp 7: ages 8-18 July 30-August 3
Cartoon Camp: ages 8-18 August 8-10
Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
$250 for the entire week camps 1-8
$130 for half day camps
