Know the Risks to Prevent Drowning

According to Cigna, the American Academy of Pediatrics reports that drowning is the second leading cause of unintentional injury death for children and adolescents in the United States.

Here are some drowning risk factors that parents and caregivers should be aware of, along with some preventative measures.
