MaranaLaughs is convinced that by replacing vulgarity with a variety of performers who say “No” to G.R.R.O.S.S. material (gender bashing, racially and religiously offensive jokes, obscenity, sexual innuendo, and swearing) you don’t have to be worried about embarrassing your family and friends or reputation They simply do not do blue or off color material. This is the type of show that you could bring your mother to without worry. A typical show will run 90 to 100 minutes and will include an MC, an opener, a middle and the headliner who will almost always have had exposure on several national television comedy programs.
Don't let the fact that our comedy is clean somehow makes it childish. It isn't. Nor should any be leery of the school being our venue. We welcome families. And while younger children will not understand all of the jokes, they will see others laugh and join in on the fun. Our producers put on a great show and I believe that it is southern Arizona's BEST VALUE in live entertainment. A show this good would cost big bucks in L.A. or Vegas.
What's the cost? Just ten bucks gets you in, and we won't twist your arm to buy anything else. Makes for a great date or family night!

The 1880's Variety Show is amusing family entertainment, featuring the family band A3. This variety act includes: Mom, Angela, on vocals and percussion; Dad, Aaron, a music teacher for over 24 years, plays guitar and sings harmony as well as lead vocals; twelve year-old daughter Aria sings, plays harmonica and Hohner airboard. Aaron and Angela have been performing together professionally for over 16 years, writing their own original music, parody songs, and developing a song archive including 100's of songs from over 100 years of popular music. These three talented entertainers perform comic skits and songs in the guise of over 2 dozen interesting, and hilarious characters, so you never know who will show up at their Old Tale Hotel, unless you do! The 1880's Variety Show includes comedy for all ages, audience participation will make the show that much more interesting for all audience members.
