The Arizona Independent Arts Festivals, LLC (“AIAF”) is proud to present The Grande Fest, their initial concert featuring Arizona musicians, filmmakers, artists, craftsmen, craft brewers and specialty foods. The Grande Fest will feature bands from the Alice Cooper Solid Rock Teen Center, including CO-OP, featuring Dash Cooper, Alice Cooper’s son; bands from the Central Arizona College Entertainment Industry Technology program including Go Ask Alice and Ryan Fairchild; and other acts including up-and-coming Arizona indie bands such as TRIDON, Davis Highway, and The Gotaways.
A truly unique feature to The Grande Fest is that it will also feature a film festival presented by Filmstock, the major film festival presenter with events in Arizona, Utah and California. The Film Festival will showcase the best Arizona films from the Filmstock Festival over the past several years. And there will be a special screening of “Cathedral Canyon,” a powerful documentary by Diana Davis about the controversial activities going on in Colorado City by the group of people led by Warren Jeffs.
The Grande Fest has not forgotten the kids - there will be a Kid Zone with a variety of “family friendly” activities such as a bounce house, rides and other activities to keep the kids occupied.
There will also be food vendors offering a wide-variety of cuisines, and a Beer Garden with 10 craft brewers offering samples of up to 40 different beers.
